Sachin Pilot is a Congress leader and the former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan (2018 to 2020) in the Ashok Gehlot Cabinet. He also held several portfolios in the state including Public Works Department, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Science and Technology and Statistic. In 2014, Pilot beacame the president of the Rajasthan state Congress and remained on the post till 2020 when he was sacked by Congress for his rebellion against Ashok Gehlot and the party leadership.
